After breakfast in the hostel, and a coffee by the lake, we began our drive down to Invercargill. It’s pretty much the most southern town in the country, so the lands end of New Zealand! Other than that claim to fame, it really doesn’t have that much going for it… apart from a ton of charity shops and an amazing sunset.

In the evening we drove down to the Bluff, which is the actual end of the country, and had a hike up the costal hills to check out the view.

We made dinner in our motel and chilled out for the evening – it was nice to have our own room after sharing for 4 days! And our own bathroom too, which we took full advantage of and I gave owen a hair cut (don’t panic – it went surprisingly well!)

The Bluff… under 19,000 km to London!
