Luckily our last day in Sydney was a bit cooler than the scorcher of a weekend we had!

We spent our last morning chilling on Bondi beach, sunbathing and having a dip in the sea. We got a salad for lunch at Bondi Fresh again (it’s so good!) and then headed back to the hostel to grab our bags. We got a bus into Sydney in the afternoon and left our bags at a storage place so we could wander around without having to lug them about with us.

The girl at the storage place told us about this park with an open air pool that was just round the corner so we went to check it out. Only like £3 entry and you get to swim in the sunshine and sunbathe by the pool… the perfect way to spend a boiling hot afternoon!

Prince Alfred Park is right in the centre of Sydney, so it’s amazing to be in a beautiful green park with a pool, and being surrounded by tall buildings and the busy city.

In the evening we grabbed some food from Woolies and then boarded our coach… only 12 hours ’til Byron Bay!
